How to tie a bandana
There are basically three ways to tie a bandana. You can tie it to a skull cap, you can tie it as a headband and you can also tie it the old way.
If you decided to tie it as a skull cap, and has a small head, start with the front corner under further until the bandana is shaped more like a triangle. Otherways you start to fold one random corner of the bandana under until its tip is about 5 or 4 inches away from the opposite corner. Place this 5-sided shape on your head with the folded edge above your brows. Tie the horizontal ends around your head making sure the tip of the triangle and any extra fabric is tucked in so the bandana hugs your head like a cool skull cap.
Wearing it as a head band can also be a nice idea. Just fold the bandana a several times until it is about 2 or 2.5 inches wide for a head band. Then use a square knot to secure it(a square knot is secure but is easy to undo). Put the left end over the right end then the right end over the left, or you can do it reverse by starting with the right over the left then the left over the right. It's like when tying your shoe laces, the only thing you need to remember is to do each tie in reverse.
